100th Day of School

Padraig's class celebrated the 100th day of school today by dressing like 100 year olds.  This old man looks pretty good for his age, don't ya think?

Willa Wren is 8 Months Old!

 I've been wanting to make Willa Wren's picture in this little white dress that belonged to me when I was a baby.  I think she looks so sweet in it.  And she loves looking out our living room window that faces our backyard and the beagle dogs.  I love the light that comes through in the afternoon.  Beautiful.  And I was lucky enough to have Padraig sit just long enough to snap a few photos of him.  He's got lots to do and is always on the move!  He is my handsome little guy.

Georgia Sea Turtle Center, Jekyll Island

Today we drove over to Jekyll Island to visit The Georgia Sea Turtle Center.  Due to the unusually frigid temperatures, the center just received 10 "cold-stunned" turtles from Florida yesterday.  It is a very nice facility and worth the trip.  We were lucky enough to arrive in time to see one of the newest patients receive an exam and then see it released into one of the tanks.
